What does "My Filter" and "Friend Filter" mean for Brightkite? Can you put title elements on the text to explain what they mean, because as is they are not self explanatory. It could mean what do I want to see from my friends, or what do I want to show to my friends, no idea. (Also, how well does this respect the privacy mode in Brightkite? I noticed FireEagle doesn't respect it at all)
Why is there a refresh button? I mean there is already a refresh button on my browser. Can't you make ST! asynchronous? I mean a little eventmachine and juggernaut magic and it would be a serious improvement. Not to mentino a much less intensive to the server load as you don't have to spin up a rails process everytime. This is Mike if it doesn't tell you that somewhere. Like Asshole lives in Seattle Mike.
Socialthing is damn nifty. I would suggest having the text in posts re-flow, so as to be able to have a smaller/thinner browser window without having to scroll horizontally to read text? Socialthing technically doesn't take up a lot of horizontal real-estate, and it would be nice to be able to leave it open as a thinner column of posts, a la the iPhone interface.
