Can't post to Twitter after changing my Twitter password Last reply on July 03, 2008 23:32.
I can't post to Twitter after changing my password on my twitter account, even though I changed my twitter account settings in Socialthing. Socialthing verifies the account information in account settings. When I click on post, it gives me the option to post to Twitter, but it fails. Any ideas? -

Not sure if this is a problem caused by the current Twitter problems, but today whenever I've tried to post a status SocialThing! has given me a message that there was an error with Twitter. However when I look on the Twitter site, the message has posted fine.

Socialthing! fails to combine synchronized Twitter & Facebook statuses when the Facebook status is given a customized prefix Last reply on July 02, 2008 14:10.
With TwitterSync, people are able to update Twitter and have it synced with Facebook without that preposterous 'is twittering:' prefix. However, since Facebook's status is based around 'be' verbs, some users have configured TwitterSync to prepend something else (which, to me, defeats the purpose), such as 'says'. It's clear that, when you combine two contacts which also combines their Twitter and Facebook statuses, Socialthing! already has it in place to filter out 'is twittering:' due to the prevalence of it. Is it possible for Socialthing! to filter out all prefixes so that the two statuses are combined again?

I've signed up for SocialThing this weekend, but I am not getting my friends' Twitter posts in my Lifestream, although I see mines in my own Lifestream. Is it a known bug? Any workarounds? Thanks in advance! -

Socialthing causes Twitter overload Last reply on June 11, 2008 20:28.
I had to turn Socialthing! off because it was hitting Twitter too hard, causing me to get "Limit Exceeded" messages in Twhirl.
Sorry, Socialthing! Until there's an AIR or other desktop client, Twhirl wins. With the few services you offer, I'm not sure what value it gives me over other multi-service aggregators. -

Adding Twitter as a service fails with the message that it failed to login to Twitter. I double, triple, and so on rechecked my user and password, i resetted my twitter password and used the new one, changed it back and used the new old password, it tells me every time that it couldn't log onto twitter. This really annoys me, so please kcan someone look into that issue?

Some of my Tweets are missing Last reply on March 19, 2008 16:19.
Looking at my Lifestream on the website, I appear to only be getting about the last two hours worth of tweets - oddly enough the iPhone version seems to have them all...
Any clues as to what is going wrong?

dear all,
in the Twitter settings I didn't tick the 'Show updates from Twitter friends'-box, but my stream still shows their updates. Sounds like a bug to me...

Sometimes tweets show up in the wrong order. Doesn't Twitter provide datestamps on all of them?
For example, sometimes replies to a tweet show up before the tweet itself...

Why do you need my twitter password? My connections are public and so are my updates so why the password?
(edited to tone it down... i'm not _that_ mad.)
If you want the password to be some sort of claiming, why not ask the users to direct message your user through twitter with some Hash key you guys give each user? Private and efficient. No need to ask for passwords.

Reply to tweet popup appears on Vote page. Last reply on April 04, 2008 17:13.
I am not 100% sure what the sequence of clicks was to trigger it.. but.. now if i click on 'reply' to tweet.. nothing happens.
but if i click over to the 'Vote' tab i will see the 'reply to tweet' popup in the middle of that page.
I closed it the popup, went back to my lifestream tried it again and was able to repeat the problem.

Disappearing Tweets Last reply on April 03, 2008 18:16.
Why are some twitter updates disappearing? I noted a twitter friend's post earlier today, and then looked back in my Lifestream (in browser) and his more recent post appears, but not the earlier one. I see other friends posts from around the same time (3 hours ago) but not his. When I go to his page on twitter, all posts are there as they should be, so it's somehow not being fed to my Lifestream.
I tried different twitter settings in socialthing! but nothing worked. Pls advise. -

i see a group of tweets that i made and the first one has that little guy/bubble icon next to it. that is fine, but the other tweets i made below that have the twitter icon.
the biggest problem isn't the icon but the "reply to tweet" link on them. i can't reply to myself. -
