I thought SocialThing! used to display direct Twitter messages. But recently none of the direct messages I've been receiving have been showing up. Was that functionality removed?
When I "love" or "heart" something, that information doesn't get synced back to Twitter. It'd be so nice if when I favorited something in ST it sync'd back to Twitter -- and the other way around, (there's an RSS feed for a user's favorites in Twitter).
am I the only one with problems after the 2.0 upgrade? The auto update feature is not working right (from time to time it just won't update) and there are a lot of messages by others on twitter that just won't show in socialthing.
How do I integrate all of my friends' updates? On Friendfeed, I have the ability to add friends. With Socialthing!, I'm guessing that those updates that I DO see are from those who already have a Socialthing! acct. Help?!?
So.. i might just be looking in the wrong place but after i merge contacts i lose some of the features/abilities that i had when they were separate entries.
For example.
John Doe Tweet - "This is my update!! "
John Doe Facebook Status- "This is my update!! "
Once these two entries are combined, i lose the ability to reply to the tweet.
Any suggestions?
Many of my friends use both Twitter and Facebook, and have their tweets update their Facebook status. This basically results in double posts. Is there a way/option to filter out Facebook status updates that contain "is twittering:"?
Is there a way to merge contacts?
For example, I have a friend who is on both Twitter and Facebook and when he makes updates i see two separate updates which are visually disconnected.. Is there a way to have them visually grouped together like what happens when someone makes successive updates ?
I keep getting this - twitter: Rate limit exceeded. Clients may not make more than 70 requests per hour. -- - I'd rather see the twitter updates than the facebook ones (which are working)
And is there a way to not show facebook updates that ARE Twitter feeds (that will be redundant)
My twitter direct messages remain private, right? In my lifestream, they are visible but another colour. I'd want some clear notification that I'm the only person who's going to see them.
I was looking at my own twitter posts in my lifestream and I noticed that the "Twitter Profile" link was a link to socialthing.com instead of to my actual twitter profile. Also instead of my twitter picture, it displays the socialthing! blob dude. Is that the expected behavior?
Also I have a mixed case last name (ex. McMurphy) but only the first letter is capitalized. In on my profile page the correct capitalization is entered but in the lifestream the second capital letter is made lowercase.
