I love that new updates are in yellow - but I hate that I have to always click a button to "See Them" when they come through. Can new updates be added to my friendstream automatically?
I set up text message updates on Twitter yesterday and updated--it looked fine on the website, but on the flash badge on my website it converted the update to "trying to stay away in conference." This morning I checked both the badge and Twitter and the update was gone on both.
I want to figure this out because the whole reason I set up the text message updates was so that I can update the flash badges on my website (danieljhogan.com) from my phone.
I haven't tried updating via a text message again yet, but I don't know what caused this. I'm on Twitter at twitter.com/danieljhogan
"1 more update" should never happen. It should only display that message for more than one hidden update because the bar that appears is only slightly smaller than that for regularly displayed updates.
I've noticed that sometimes the friendstream updates on the iphone web app and on the actual Socialthing! website become 'stuck' for a while. Meaning the most recent updates are usually from 4 hours ago, when I know that there should be more recent updates in the my friendstream.
My facebook updates are not showing up. Before, I was getting the reauthenticate message. But that is not showing up anymore. I have selected the option to keep me logged on in the facebook window. But still no updates. Any ideas of what might be wrong?
Automatic updates don't show up anymore as it was before the addition of new services. Also refreshing the page doesn't make new entries show (and there would be). Facebook status+pix are not included either.
I believe that now that twitter increased the limit on their API ST! should add more options in the "Frequency" setting of twitter. The lowest value now is "every 5 minute" that it is high for those that follow twitter exclusively from ST!. As other options will still be available anyone can decide how often they want to check twitter through socialthing (if they use other clients also).
I believe we should have "every 2 minutes" and "every 1 minute" options.
I'm not getting any twitter updates in Socialthing! as of yesterday. I can still post to my twitter account just fine, but I can't see any updates at all.
I've tried removing my account and adding it back again, but it doesn't seem to matter.
Just wondering how often Socialthing updates the feeds from Twitter? The last message I have from a twitter friend is from an hour ago, while I have message showing in Twitter.com that are not on Socialthing from over 15 mins ago.
OK please tell me that near to real time updating is in the works, I love everything about Socialthing except isn't the idea behind all of this realtime communication and sharing?? When will the updates be faster??
Many of my friends use both Twitter and Facebook, and have their tweets update their Facebook status. This basically results in double posts. Is there a way/option to filter out Facebook status updates that contain "is twittering:"?
Make the "view lifestream by user" collapsible by friend. I like the "more" and "less" clicks below each friend with more than 4 updates but how about being able to collapse a specific friend's stream entirely?
The lifestream gets really cumbersome when you happen to follow many people on many networks.
