combine my friend's twitter & facebook accounts
Can I tell socialthing when two accounts from two different services are really the same person? This is super easy in multi-protocol chat clients like Adium and it would really help me out! People often post the same thing to facebook & twitter and it would be nice to see them merged into one event.

Andrew-- You can group these posts so they appear as one by simply grouping the identities of the person. If you click on the person's name, it will give you the ability to rename them. Do this on all of the services they're using (even if their Facebook name is the same as you are naming them) and it will group their multiple posts into one. Hope this helps!

sorry i may be a little behide the times but how do i combine my accounts? i want to make a post and it show up on all accounts. is that possible? -
Inappropriate?thanks! thought this was how it would work but didn't see immediate results. I think what confused me is that I standardized to my friend's Facebook name ("Jane Doe") for Flickr (formerly "janedoe") & Twitter (formerly "janed0"), but that didn't automatically scoop up her Facebook identity (already "Jane Doe"). I had to click "rename" on the Facebook post in order to link it with the other two. Make sense? -
Inappropriate?Yes, I was trying to explain that in the last part of that paragraph, sorry if it wasn't clear. I also assumed that the name would just group when I first started using it, so I understand the confusion. :)
