Facebook items should link to wall-to-wall, "send message"
Socialthing should link to Facebook "wall-to-wall" and "send message" pages for my friends (besides linking to their profile). That is, when I see someone's status in my lifestream, I should be able to click "send X a message" or "wall-to-wall" to easily send them a public (wall) or private message.
I’m currently clicking extra times.

We'll check into this, but it may not quite be possible. The Facebook API only allows us to get certain kinds of data, and I'm pretty sure that these aren't one of them. We can, however, point you to the right place so that it's a quicker operation. That may be possible soon...

["The user" = FB friend/user appearing in lifestream; "me" = SocialThing user whose lifestream is being viewed]
Since you are linking to the user's profile already, you have the user's profile ID. I'm assuming you already have my facebook ID.
Then just provide a link to wall-to-wall like this:
http://www.facebook.com/wall.php?id=F...
And a compose-to link like this:
http://www.facebook.com/inbox/?compos...

Because they don't expose their wall and inbox to the API we're not able to send messages directly from our interface :( -
