I'm Already Heading To The Hills
Nothing works and this has got to be the worst state I've ever seen a beta app in EVER! First of all I sign up and enter in my social account details and get the following:
http://tinyurl.com/35a2w3
Then I go to email support to tell them and find I have to sign up for another account with GetSatisfaction to do so. It's only because it was THAT poor that I bothered!
Then I go to log back into SocialThing to see if I can find a support address and get the following:
http://tinyurl.com/3y68w5
Then I go back to the site one last time and I see this:
http://tinyurl.com/2v34tz
Seriously I know a beta release indicates that development is ongoing but this is ridiculous. If it can't be used then don't bother wasting people's time. I suggest you go back to the drawing board and keep it in private development for a few months. There are a number of other social aggregator apps out there that DO work and work well (Jaiku for one) and after this experience I'll definitely be switching.
Regards

Sorry to hear about your trouble, typo404. We're currently trying to gear up for South by Southwest and are upgrading to mediatemple's Nitro server. In doing so, we rightfully had to take the server down. We tried to be as stealthy as possible by doing so at ~4:30am CST, but apparently, you caught us in the ~10-15 mins of downtime (not too shabby if you ask me).
As far as the signup process goes, we've received nothing but rave reviews at how frictionless we make it for the user. Now that all the server work is behind us, I'd invite you to give us another go.
Thanks for the feedback and sorry again for the downtime.

Inappropriate?I'm not part of the work team for socialthing, but I can back them up 100% that they are doing everything possible to make this app everything it was meant to be and more! Seriously.. These guys literally work around the clock to ensure that. :-)
I’m confident!

Inappropriate? Before even reading Ben's response, I was thinking the same thing from those screenshots posted. I agree with Lisa SERIOUSLY.
I’m satisfactioned
