iPhone web app not getting new messages while away from computer.
iPhone takes more than an hour to update. I try to refresh page, and it just stays in the last message i received an hour ago.

Thanks for reporting this. The issue is basically this: now that we're archiving instead of doing live calls whenever you log in, we're not always 100% fresh. Our solution on the desktop is to constantly call our server to see if there are new updates, and then deliver them to you via notification. However, on the iPhone this call is much more intense, in terms of battery, etc. And you're not likely just going to leave the iPhone window open.
I will say, however, that we're trying to figure out the best solution to be able to stay as fresh as possible on the iPhone without sacrificing anything. We'll keep you up to date with our progress...

Inappropriate?Thanks Matt. I was wondering about this, too as I have been using the iPhone version of Socialthing! in Fluid.app (because it supports a skinnier window).

Inappropriate?This makes Socialthing! on the iPhone pretty useless for me. I guess it would be good if the Socialthing! webapp went off and did a live call whenever you logged in; but seeing "six hours ago" is a bit... meh.

Inappropriate?I think this needs another answer. The previous one doesn't make sense. It seems like leaving socialthing open on your computer blocks updates after a certain amount of time, so you don't get new updates until you get back to your computer. My iPhone said the last update was six hours ago until I got home, and then I got weird chunks of updates in my Fluid app for SocialThing. I don't think this has anything to do with the data call on the iPhone being more intense. It seems to assume that because you stop calling for updates in one web instance, you shouldn't get updates in any other web instance you open, even the non-iPhone web page.
