Link, Truncation, Special Character Awareness
Plurk and Twitter (and Facebook, too) handle the processing of links, posts over 140 characters, and special characters in a different manner. Therefore, one overlong post, a post w/ a link, or a smiley across these services could appear as 3 different posts.
It would be cool if Socialthing! knew how different services dealt with these anomalies and output one beautiful post.
