Livejournal is fail
Livejournal not seeming to work -- at all? -- in socialthing. Can't post to LJ, and not showing up on lifestream. :\

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.

Inappropriate? You won't be able to post to LiveJournal because we haven't enabled posting yet for that service...but soon you'll be able to post to your blogs.
Now, as for the Lifestream not showing up, is there an error at the top that says "livejournal - error fetching data"? -
Inappropriate? No -- no error message. But no data, either, and I know there are unlocked (as well as flocked) friends posts in my LJ "friends" page.
I’m waiting
-
Inappropriate?I get the "livejournal - error fetching data". It worked once, but my posts were just showing up at blank with no content.
-
Inappropriate? The Livejournal part hasn't really worked since I've started using ST. First, I had the fetching error. Now, that that's gone, I get my name next to the LJ pencil, but its blank. And I don't see anyone else's LJ posts at all. What is it supposed to look like?
-
Inappropriate?I don't see any updates either, which is depressing me since I have one friend with an LJ I want to keep up with and can't convince her to post anywhere else.
-
Inappropriate?LiveJournal seems to be a big beast when it comes to their API...we are constantly having problems with it. However, we're working to resolve these issues and with the next iteration, at least some of the problems will be solved...
Sorry to hear about this! -
Thanks --! I'm of course hoping that once you get this resolved, it will also work for InsaneJournal and JournalFen (and several other clones). Come on, I'm an optimist! :) -
Matt, can you guys not allow RSS feeds to be added? Obviously we couldn't post in that case, but at least we could read. You could then just use a "Post to LJ" link that would open up another browser/tab with the LJ post entry page in it. Not a perfect solution, but I think it might be a pretty reasonable stop gap until the API beasty is tamed.
