Place friends into categories.

I'd love to see categories for my friends, i.e. co-workers, family, etc. Similar to the way IM lets you distinguish different people. That way when I'm at work, I can see what my co-workers are up to and ignore them during the weekend.

We're working on a centralized "friends" tab that will show you all your friends across all services and then be able to categorize them like you want...

Sounds good. Just make sure that you can put a friend into multiple categories. That will allow viewing updates based on context.
