Reauthenticating my Facebook details
Facebook: I keep getting asked to "Reauthenticate" my Facebook details in my "Settings", having added Facebook to my Socialthing account; why would this be? I have followed the steps through to add Facebook to my Socialthing account.

Sorry about this guys. Facebook Connect will solve this problem, but it is not out of beta yet. We have all of the code written, so once Facebook Connect launches it will be fixed.

The changes facebook made for new.facebook.com have taken away the capabilities we had with the old facebook. facebook connect should fix those problems, but it won't be out for a few more days, at least. We have code ready to deploy for facebook connect whenever they go live with it.

Inappropriate?I too am annoyed with this. Note also that even when I do "reauthenticate" with facebook, I never see any facebook updates in my lifestream, so something still isn't working with this

Inappropriate?Never mind when I took off my facebook info and added it in again after taking all the permissions out of facebook and adding it back in, I am now receiving the updates in my friendstream

Inappropriate?I spoke too soon when I thought this had fixed the problem earlier.
When I removed facebook app completely, within both facebook and ST, and then re-added it, it did work for a while. It loaded up my friend's status updates from Facebook.
But I've just checked my settings page again and it is now saying "Reauthenticate".
There is a problem here, and someone does need to look at it!

Facebook Connect appears to be working quite well on The Insider.com site.
But, it looks like they do need to "approve" every app that links to them that way; good luck with that. -
So does this mean you're one step closer if other sites have Connect working?
