Removal of manual refreshing and mobile settings?
will I ever get the ability to manually refresh my feeds again (mobile and regular editions of ST.)? Also, I'd like to have the return of the settings page in the mobile version. Are these things just temporarily removed?
I’m not going to die if this doesn't get fixed.

Inappropriate?Manual refresh was removed because it really never did a whole lot in the first place. Our auto-updating is fresh to the minute with the data from our queue. We need to do all of our fetching on a queued basis because otherwise we're calling the other services in bursts rather than a stream. Rest assured, as soon as we have the data from the other sites, you will get it in your hands within 60 seconds via auto-update.
Now granted, this doesn't fix the iPhone just yet...as we're working on a UI solution to be able to deliver updates there...
As for the settings page, I'm not sure it will be returning there just yet. Any particular reason you liked it?

Now that I really gave it a chance, the desktop auto refreshing does work very well. Thanks for adding that, it's pretty good. An iphone solution would be great! That's where I used the manual refreshing the most. Thanks!
