SocialThing Invites
I'm part of SocialThing and loving it. Would like to pass on an invite. Saw it appear for a few seconds at the top (10 invites) then after a refresh was gone. What gives?

Yeah, unfortunately we can't give out a bunch of invites right now, and for anyone that hadn't sent one yet, we pulled it out, just to try and alleviate some of the strain on the site. The issue wasn't the invites that went out to the big blogs, it was moreso that once they were out there, everyone started inviting all their friends. Now, that's not an issue at all, and we absolutely love that everybody did that, but right now we're trying to get things back together so that you can invite your friends ASAP
