I want to tag my friends so I can can quickly check feeds for "colleagues", "competitors", "stalk-this-hottie", "family", "important", "not-important" and so on. With 700+ on Twitter and 400+ on Facebook it's unmanageable in a non-discerning aggregator

Inappropriate?Great idea! We've been toying around with the best way to be able to have "groups" of friends, and we sort of settled on this, but your idea was right down our alley.
We've got a little while before it's going to be implemented, but that's a great suggestion!
