The friendstream updates are incredibly delayed

Last night during the election, the latest update was from 1 hour ago, even though my stream on Twitter had new posts within the last few seconds. Today, it shows the latest update was yesterday, even though there's been many updates since. This essentially renders Socialthing useless, and should be a high priority fix.
