Weeding Out the Fans from Friends
I can see Socialthing becoming my go-to source for all things social online, but I have to be able to remove people from the stream on the spot.
Facebook has the give me more or less of this person feature, but it's not as effective as the ability to completely remove someone from the stream who is a fan.
I mentioned this to Brian already, but thought I'd post here as well.

Inappropriate?Great idea, something we've already got in the works. We were big fans of Brad Feld's "friend heirarchy" idea:

So thus, we are going to allow groups and some sort of heirarchy so that you can define the "importance" of your friends

Inappropriate?Yep, definitely want to tune certain people out, especially from my FB feed--FB doesn't seem to let me do it completely, it just shows those people "less". But if the people I care about aren't saying much, I get a ton of crap from people I just want to keep in my "address book" but don't really need to know further details about, say, when they fed their cat last.
In short: Looking forward to this feature.
