Why no underscore in usernames?
It's not possible to use the username I have for pretty much every other site on the Internet with socialthing. Only Digg don't allow underscore usernames, facebook, flickr, google, twitter, lots of Web 2.0 style sites including those socialthing integrate with allow this.
Currently I'm signed up with grahamalton, as soon as my browser loses this user ID I will forget it and no longer be able to use the site. Ideally I want the same username I have everywhere else, graham_alton. Make it so!

Inappropriate?Graham- We don't allow underscores in the username because in the future we plan to do domain names such as "username.socialthing.com" for each user's public profile. Since underscores are not allowed in domain names, we aren't allowing them in our usernames. Hope this helps!
