"Catch up all my previous follows" is broken...
Just lost 1/2 my friends on Twitter in about 20 min!
I just ran the "catch up all my previous Twitter follows" script. However, it did the exact OPPOSITE of what it was supposed to do: it deleted 6,000+ of my my friends.
I DM's Jesse (@socialtoo) on Twitter about it as it was happening, and he was kind enough to stop the process, so that the damage was limited to 6,000.
I've since tried to manually refollow people back, but the process has also caused Twitter to block from me from following people.
Can anyone think of an ingenious way to reverse this?

Inappropriate?Kent, as was mentioned in our private e-mails, this was because Twitter made changes to their API without notice to developers. The change introduced a bug in their API, causing the unfollows. Also, as mentioned in our private e-mails, I'm trying to work with Twitter to get your follow limits lifted, and offered to give you your catch up script for free. Unfortunately, in the meantime, you'll have to wait 24 hours and your follow limit will be lifted. Then Twitter will allow you to follow 1,000 people per day. I'm doing the best I can to fix this but unfortunately, we're at the mercy of Twitter's own API and their own flaws and bugs. When they're broken unfortunately so are we.
