Is Thread Dead?
I heard all the press a while back about THREAD and finally decided to sign up figuring that by now the service would be thriving, however come to find out the support forums are a ghost town and even when I connect with friends on the site it appears as if the service is non-existent. And what is this about requiring me to only connect to "single" friends - when some of the best connections for a single person are made by friends who are already part of a couple!

Inappropriate?Hi Jeffrey-
Don't be sad - Thread is alive, we have just been working hard! There are some new features such as Shuffle and basic Match making tools to enhance the product and we have created other channels for you to keep in touch with us. We are happy to answer any questions that you have .... just let us know.
Here are the links to our blog, fb and twitter accounts:

Inappropriate?Hi Jeffrey,
I just also want to add... we do connect you with all friends who have joined Thread, whether or not they're single or in a relationship. However we do experiment with our invite text, and depending on the situation you may have seen text that emphasized inviting single friends (who may also want to meet people).
But you are absolutely right, it makes a ton of sense to invite friends who are already in a relationship too, especially now that we have a Make Matches tab for people to help suggest matches to their friends.
I'd also love to hear more about what you mean by the service being "non-existent", so feel free to post more questions here or email me at katherine@thread.com if there's anything you'd like me to research about your account specifically.
