Is map panning/zooming possible?
Curse Counter is using Google Maps to show your current position at the moment of the tweet. However, both versions (desktop and iPhone) don't allow map panning/zooming to search for "curses" in the vicinity.
This adds to the simplicity, admittedly, but I was wondering if it would be possible to implement it to search around for other "cursers". Zooming is especially important, especially in large urban areas.

Inappropriate?Hmm, silly me.
Actually the iPhone version allows for both panning and zooming, it's the desktop version that lacks this function (at least on Firefox and Chrome). There is a small rectangle "locationCheck" map in the middle-right part of the screen, but that's only to remind you of your fixed locations.
What about the big map above?
I’m silly

Inappropriate? Thanks for your question, Kensai. Curse Counter is in the middle of a total overhaul, both iPhone app and web app. We have a new mapping algorithm that works with zooming and panning and looks beautiful. We can't wait to debut it!
I’m excited
