Blog updates not sent to Ping.fm
Installed PingPressFM on Wordpress 2.6.3, user API key (verified), and PHP 5 (verified, 5.2.6) with the CURL module (verified). Running on Windows Server 2008. I setup the included 'blog' trigger (yes, I even did the two-step save process).
But, updates are still not happening. Nothin', notta. Create a new blog post and nothing goes out. Permissions on the directory for IUSR are set to 'Full Control'.
Let me know what other information I can provide to help track down the issue!

Inappropriate?I ended up using http://ping.fm/ref/help/ (DOWNLOAD http://ping.fm/downloads/plugins/word...) via adding this in page and posts templates:
<?php pingthis_page("<img src='http://www.whatsthebigidea.com/wp-content/themes/connections-reloaded-15/ping.png?> Ping it!"); ?>
Then after completing a post/page I ping it via the "Ping iT" link on page.

Inappropriate?I will be developing a test version of the plugin for the express purpose of debugging the problems some of the users are having. This plugin will print all of its actions to the PHP error log. Which people can then send to me so I can study them and find the problems.

Some questions:
Have you been able to post via Ping.fm's Dashboard?
Did you get the okay message when entering your application key?
Did you activate the triggers and save your settings?
Did you try the default settings first after activating the triggers?
Is anything in the red in the first paragraph? cURL, PHP version, etc. -
I have posted from Ping - only showed in Twitter & Facebook (not Myspace).
I don't really understand triggers, if you have docs regarding how to use that would be great help to me - newbie!

I had the impression that this works by me posting WordPress blogs, and those blogs would update on my social sites. Is this right? That's what I wanted.

I noticed you said version 2.1.4 this time around. The latest version of the plugin is 2.2.6, so you should upgrade if you haven't.
Go to the plugin's settings. From the dropdown box, select the @m trigger. The options should appear below. Check the activate trigger checkbox, leave the other settings alone for now. Hit 'Update Trigger'. THEN hit the 'Update Settings' button. After that try a test post.
In the past Ping.fm could post to the MySpace blog, but it has since lost that ability for whatever reason. -

Am i doing this correctly?
1. in my Ping acct, I have twitter, facebook and myspace networks on my dashboard.
2. I use WordPress to post blogs, which in turn should just update the three.
