Hello,


I tried to install Soluto on my lab PC but it fails.

Installing progress do not go over 0% and eventually fails with error screen, resulting error code #72212.


According to the installer log, installer keep trying the following action for more than ten times and finnaly gave up the installation:

I assume that the installer's attempt to retrievie Soluto .msi file from server is blocked by firewall. My PC is connected to internet via my university's local network, and the university network bloks almost all ports except HTTP (80), monitors every packets using firewall for "security", and blocks some of them when they think it is "suspicious".


I am sorry but I cannot provide any further information on my situation, because I am not able to contact university IT team to reveal firewall policy and provide you more information to reproduce this error -- But I am quite sure about that they did blocked the .msi download.


The problem would be solved if there are an alternative way to download .msi from server, for example using web browser's download functions. I tried to download .msi directly from the server using the URL noted in the installer log file, and it was succesfu to have 7.8MB .msi installer on my PC, although that .msi just kindly requested me to "run me via soluto installer".

Enabling fully offline install (without downloading .msi from server) would be another solution, but maybe it is not an option that Soluto developers intends to adopt, in my guess.

I got a #72151 error when it tried to install the prgram at the point it wanted to download more.

My Error #72151 I believe is caused cause I have to authenticate to get to the internet and I didnt get any pop up asking for my username\password so the program could do this, nor could i see an area i could have entered this detail before hand.

I had this problem, but was able to resolve it by disabling the global proxy setting. In my particular case, Avast AV had changed the setting to run the real time shields. Prior to changing it, I suffered the same install issues while being able to download the msi file directly. Hope this helps others.

I'm still error Error # 72151. I'm running Windows XP Service Pack 3 and have tried to install after rebooting and with and without the Windows Firewall on. Any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem. I just lowered my firewall settings for moment, and hey presto. Pure coinsidence probably.

I had the 72151 error but I believe it is due to the Soluto site being blocked by my companies security systems.

Me too getting the problem !!!!

Am using Local LAN and I am using proxy.
I have 72212 problem repeatedly.

X32 / WInXp-SP2
have disabled all antivirus

I had this same problem without proxy and with Windows Firewall not blocking Soluto. I had gotten this problem 7 or 8 times trying it in with or without safe mode. I finally deleted all files with "Soluto" in the name, including the Program Data, did a secure delete of these files and restarted the computer. I launched the installer and it tried to download it a few times, then finished downloading and installed completely and launched. I hope this can help anyone with similar problems!
