Define new Nexus packaging type?
Apologize if this is not the proper forum for a Nexus question. Nexus won't accept a
packaging type of 'rb.swc' (an Adobe Flex thing); how do I make that type recognized by
Nexus?

Inappropriate? What do you mean by "packaging recognized by nexus"? Where?

Tamas, when I add an artifact to the nexus repository via the web interface, I'm asked to specify a packaging type. When I attempt to type in 'rb.swc', it's rejected. Make sense?
Thanks, Garry -
Inappropriate?Oh, yes. Just tried that one. Initially, the field was meant to be editable (actually, it is still), but it seems is a UI bug that is not leaving the user entered value, but reverts to "Select ..."...

Inappropriate? Thanks for creating the issue. Two follow up questions:
1. Is there a work-around I can make to get the UI working?
2. If I install the artifact manually, i.e., not using the web interface but maven-install or putting it into the filesystem directly, nexus will find it to resolve dependency requests, correct? IOW, this is just a UI issue as you said earlier and not a resolve-the-artifact issue.
Thanks again, Garry
