"Library" missing after updating Songbird in Ubuntu.
I recently updated Songbird in Ubuntu (came from the Launchpad repository). Afterwards, the "Library" selection is missing from the left-sided menu bar. I removed Songbird using Synaptic and reinstalled it using the file from GetDeb. The "Library" is still missing.

Inappropriate?I had this before - try this. Browse to your home directory, press "<ctrl> h" to show hidden folders and delete the .songbird2 folder. This will remove your profile and any addons you had stored etc... you'll need to import your media again.
When this happened to me it was when upgrading from one nightly to a newer version...
Hope this helps.</ctrl>
