can't edit .m4a-Tags
I am using Songbird 1.2 on my Mac (10.6.2) and I cannot edit the metadata on .m4a-Files :-/ . I read that this was fixed in Version 1.2, does anybody has an idea, what the problem is?

Support for m4a files has been added in 1.3, not 1.2.
However the folks at Songbird have decided to not release 1.3 because of some problems that will be tackled in 1.4 (which is soon to be released).
The main work that has been done on this subject is described in bug 16160
So hang on a few more days/weeks until version 1.4 gets released.

Inappropriate?should this be working on MAC ? (Songbird 1.2.0, Build 1146 (20090616030100)) for it doesnt :-) -

M4A metadata tagging doesn't exist in 1.2.0. As mentioned, it was added in 1.3.0, however, 1.3 was never released as a final version. It will however be added in 1.4 which is due to be released very soon (by end of month probably).
