Simplify Media support and other ideas

Well, hopefully one day there would be no need for iTunes. Btw, I think that Songbird should be kept simple and to many things shouldn't be added, after all it does have an add-on system.

Anyways, one idea is adding Simplify Media support, it seems like a good idea:

I knw ther are probably a few people requesting a way to share libraries, and this method works for Mac, Windows, Linux, the iPhone and is cross-platform. I mean, WinAmp, and iTunes has it.

Songbird should also develop an app that syncs the its Library not to the iTunes_Control, but somewhere else. But I guess the problem would be making an app for it, if people aren't jailbroken... The only other way would be to develop an app for Apple, or find a way to do it through the iPhone, like Safari. Maybe something like the 1.x Jailbreak, just putting out ideas I guess. I guess you could work with PwnPlayer for those people who are jailbroken: forums.pwnplayer.com, and/or submit an App to apple. They allowed Simplify Media, which is an amazement to me, the ability to share a music library with up to 30 people....

Again, I think Songbird should be kept simple and make a lot of features in its add-ons. Work on some media file downloading tools, or port NetVideoHunter, Download Embedded and Media Player Connectivity as well as Fission, URL Fixer, Download Statusbar, and AutoComplete Manager, my favorite add-ons.

Songbird also seems to have a memory usage problem, it crashes to often, takes a lot of time to load and at times can be slow, and I'm talking about this media player on my HP Laptop I just bought, I didn't do much to it yet. No backgorund processes running, accept YIM, AIM, Simplify Media and Windows Live, like thats going to really going to make it slow. I've even tried it by ending those processes, so fix that problem.

I do have one request, again just a request, an add-on that allows you to chat through some basic and very well-know chat clients, like YIM, AIM, Windows Live, Google Talk, Skype, Gadu Gadu, Jabber, MySpace and ICQ. Media/File/Folder Sending, Emoticons, Vioce Chat are a few features I'd like to see. For the xtra mile, try adding "Join a Chat Room" support.

Overall, pretty great, All the fancy features, I like them, but hope to see improvement in Songbirds code, hopefully you'll squash all those bugs.
