Actively support portable songbird to sell installed on portable media players
Portable music is becoming a bigger and bigger part of peoples lives, and people like to carry their collection around with them.
I propose Songbird modifies and endorses the portable copy of Songbird, and works with manufacturers to include it with some portable music player. Songbird should be modified to share the same library as the media device, so that whatever music the portable media player sees, is synchronised with the copy of songbird included on the device at all times.
Furthermore, users should be able to plug the device in any other computer and access songbird, and their media library from the device.

Inappropriate?Is this really a question?
I think it's good idea. It will require some work, such as adjusting paths to match the assigned drive letter, but could be well worth it.
BTW, my idea of a good portable app is one that has read-only access to the registry, read only access to the user's files, full access to the tmp folder, and full file-chooser access. -
Inappropriate?oops.. Not a question.. Did it wrong :(
