add an group for the files with missing meta in artist/ album
in the library the files with missing metadata in artist, or album are not shown unless you browse all files,¿can be added a filter for no artist/ no album/no genre?

Inappropriate?You can create a Smart Playlist with the condition "Artist- is- " and leave the value field empty..... and do this for any attribute you want to check.
This will retrieve all tracks where the Artist field is empty...
Smart Playlist are extremely powerful to assist you in library maintenance.
