AIF files on Songbird
Although Songbird plays 16/44.1 AIF files, when they are imported from iTunes on the Mac, the metadata are not imported with the file. The metadata come in just fine when Apple lossless files are imported.
Also, when 24/96 AIF files are played, the sound is not as clear as it should be.
I am not sure whether this is a bug or a missing feature, but I hope it will be fixed.

Inappropriate?I meant AIFF files, the type used in iTunes.
I have found, to my delight, that the problem with AIFF files, including 24/96 AIFF files, only occurs when I import the songs through the File/Import Media command. When I bring them in through "Import Library" in Preferences, they come in with full metadata and play perfectly.
