Airfoil streaming breaks when skipping track
Streaming to an Airport express using Airfoil works.
But when you skip to the next track. Stream breaks and the macbook speakers start playing instead of the Airport express.
In order to get it to work again I have to relaunch Songbird.
This is irritating because it makes me either listen to bad songs or having to restart Songbird! :)

Inappropriate?I've got the same problem with Airfoil v3.1.0 and Songbird (1.0.0, Build 860). The dev team seems to be aware of the problem; there's a bugzilla thread here: http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show...

Inappropriate?me too: Songbird 1.0.0, Build 860 (20081124140725)
I suspect Songbird must be somehow creating a new audio stream, while Airfoil has continued to 'hijack' the previous one. A fix is probably possible on both ends, though I don't know if the Airfoil folks (rogueamoeba.com) know about it.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I emailed Airfoil tech support and they sent me the following workaround (that fixes it for me, at least):
It looks like Songbird is using a nonstandard method of audio playback. One thing that might work is if you set Airfoil to use MegaMix.
To do so, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that Airfoil is not currently transmitting.
2. With Songbird selected as the audio source in Airfoil, select "Advanced Source Settings..." from the Edit menu.
3. Select "Hijack all audio streams (MegaMix) and click OK.
4. Try transmitting as before.
Would still be nice if Songbird used a "standard" method of audio playback, but for now I can start using it again...
I’m satisfied
