Album art is not saveing
I want to see album art in Winamp or any other media player but when I drag the album art from LastFM and save it to metadata the changes are only seen in Songbird. Why is that?

Inappropriate?Hmm... this should not be the case. Writing album artwork to the metadata should be enable by default.
To check:
1) type in about:config in the URL field
2) Click the I'll be Careful button
3) Type in songbird.metadata.artwork.enableWriting in the search field and see if that one set to 'true', if not, double click it to change it.
...or you could check out the latest nightly builds, as that has Album Art Fetching and some other goodies in it :)

I've checked the setting from about:config and is set to true. Could it be I drag png pics in album art and the format accepted is jpg? -
I apologize for the confusion, but Songbird Does Not write the artwork to the metadata in the file. It just keeps it in Songbird's own database (for now). I was talking to Ali about this a couple days ago (about the future Album Art Fetching feature, and whether it will write to the metadata or not) and I got the impression that Songbird was already writing artwork to files, but of course - it is not, I apologize for confusing you. But I'm going to try and get a hold of him or stevo (the album fetching genius) and see/make sure they get this resolved in the next 1.1 release. As writing to the file would be awesomely necessary! (Because even iTunes doesn't do that... booo). Again Sorry, but I will let you know right away when I find out whats up :)

Alrighty... We found the bug! Here it is: http://bugzilla.songbirdnest.com/show... and it will be fixed in 1.1... And this should also fix your saving problem... If not, I will definitely open up a bug for that once 1.1 comes out... And I promise you, you will LOVE it if you like having album art for your media.. It will probably find about 95% of your artwork, even if you have bad tags... Way better than iTunes' feature and I suggest getting the Album Art Fetcher add-on when 1.1 comes along (for better quality)... Anyway... Sorry, I get excited easily... Wooo Songbird!
