Album Art not showing on my ipod 80gb classic!
i am running Songbird (1.1.2, Build 1042) and have added the ipod device support add-on (3.0.12.1028) and am using an Ipod 80GB classic (6G)
I was previously using Itunes and brought my entire library onto my linux machine (Linux Mint 7). My library already had all the album art attatched, but songbird didn't recognize about half of them, so I used the "get album art." Only a few had to be done manually, by dragging a jpg over.
All the album art looks great IN songbird, including the "Mediaflow" add-on, but when I sync'd the Ipod, about 5 albums show art, and they are incorrect. All I see are the grayed out covers.
Is there a fix for this? I have to have album art, otherwise my library looks ghetto

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.

Inappropriate?no help, no fix? I think to be an itunes replacement program, you have to at least support the syncing of album art.

Inappropriate?Songbird doesn't support that yet cause I have tried putting album art on my iPod nano 4th generation and it won't work
I’m unconcerned

Inappropriate?I think the problem is related to the way iTunes deals with album art. Rather than embedding the art into the mp3 files, it stores a database on your computer, and on your iPod, and then creates a reference file, linking albums to art.
It might be possible for you to get around this by using some third party software to embed the art into the mp3 files themselves. You could do this manually through iTunes (using the right-click -> info method), but it would probably take a really long time.
I hope songbird fixes this soon, as this, and also the grouping of compilations, is one of the few things keeping me from making a full transition.
Good luck :)
