Album Art on portable players

I'm guessing a lot of people will agree with me when I say I'd much rather have the album art as .jpg files, so I can use the on my mp3 player (cowon s9) and either embedded or just saved as cover.jpg files.

I downloaded Songbird today, and I love it, mainly because of the fact most of my songs now have album art that I'd lost years ago and the 7digital support but its a huge shame that I can't have all the album art on my player.
