Am I crazy or is my volume jumping up when a track changes?
Right now I'm on shuffle, and i realize that i have different file types with different bit rates and such. but i find that when a new track starts playing my volume seems unreasonably high. all i have to do is click the volume slider and the volume goes back to where it should be. note that the slider doesn't move, but the volume corrects itself.
Don't reply to this if you are going to say that i need to start a new profile. that is something i wont do unless i can back up my stats. (that's another issue altogether though)

Inappropriate? Are you using Songbird 1.1 or 1.0? We introduced some new functionality in 1.1 that could be related...

I am using beta 3 now. i was having this problem with beta 2. i read into some things and figured i'd look for the settigns involving volume normalization. It's on by default! although i don't know of any setting that i have it may be what the problem was. we'll see how it goes.
