Auto Update Tag Info. from Online Music Databases
I like the addition of the tag editor that will permanently save to the original file. However, I would like to have the ability to search and attach accurate information automatically from online music databases similar to WMP11's "Get Album Info" and Winamp's "Auto-tag". I have a large library and manually editing every song tag is a daunting task.

I was disappointed to see this removed from the road map too. I recommend creating an account on Bugzilla and voting for this feature. If enough people vote for it, maybe it will be bumped up on their priority list.

Inappropriate?This needs to be in any killer music app. This would help clean up all my meta data. It would be great if this was integrated cleanly and had a simple but effective way to get individual tag info for singles and have the ability to also get album info all at once intelligently.

Inappropriate?before any mp3s get into my library, I run mp3tag on them to grab id3 info from amazon/freedb. Having this functionality in songbird would increase its overall awesomeness from high to higher.

Inappropriate?I've just started using musicbrainz in the past week and its so helpful. The entire time I've been using it though I've been thinking it needs to be integrated into song bird. Granted the software is not perfect yet, but its a really handy tool
