BPM id3v2 tag not refreshed or not correctly read ?
I have calculate the BPM of all my mp3 s using Mix Meister BPM analyser
I am able to see the result in the BPM id3v2 tag using tools like MP3Tag or The GodFather,
But the value is not shown in SongBird field BPM, is there another field or just a problem of refresh ?

Inappropriate?I've worked it out. The BPM column equates to the BPM tag, but will only be displayed if the value in the tag is an integer, i.e. a value of 129.34 will not be displayed, if it is rounded to 129, the value *will* be displayed.
Here's how to do it:
- Create BPM values with MixMeister to two decimal points.
- Download MP3tag and create a new action to convert the BPM values to integers. The instructions on how to create an action are in the help file, and the specific code to create this action is here: http://forums.mp3tag.de/lofiversion/i...
- Once the tags have been converted to integers by mp3tag, delete and reimport the songbird library with the new values. (refresh didn't work for me)
The only issue after that is that in my library at least some songs had both bpm and mm/bpm tags and sometimes one of the tags would be left empty for a particular song, so a bit of cleanup was needed as well. To check you will have to look at the extended tags in mp3tag.
Thats it. Now if only Songbird could display values to two decimal places...
I’m amazed it worked
