Button for easy bookmarking of radio stations/streams?
Title says it all: I think a button for adding the currently playing stream to the 'Radio' folder or a Playlist folder would be very useful.
Could be a button like the 'add bookmark' button for web pages and it could be in the song notification area and it should be grayed out if said stream is already in our bookmarks somewhere...
I haven't found a way yet in 0.6 to 'bookmark' a shoutcast stream... drag'n'drop doesn't seem to work to do this... We should be able to drag the title straight from the song notification area to a playlist or radio folder, or right-click then have a context menu for that...

Inappropriate?fgaudet, In the next release we're going to be overhauling our UI. The currently playing area is going to be moving so we're holding off putting in this feature request until the UI work has settled. Meanwhile, to bookmark a stream, you can make it a favorite by clicking on the heart at the far right of the stream you'd like to favorite.2 Comments

But that's only a solution for bookmarking shoutcast-streams. I need a bookmark for a stream that's neither listed in shoutcast, nor in birdtune... -
I'm in the same boat as CrasherAtWeb. I do not rely on any particular service fy my stream, and like to stream from a few specific radio stations directly instead. This is literally the only feature holding me back from Songbird and using the file menu to invoke this is no more convenient than it would be if that's how I had to load up a given commonly-used playlist or song. I'm very surprised that there isn't a single player out there that has accommodated this yet (except for the Winamp Kameleon DUI skin, which has a series of configurable, multipurpose buttons).

Inappropriate?Yeah, it's mostly needed for when a random site gives you a SHOUTcast link that isn't in the list that Songbird gives you. The Favorite heart button thing doesn't work for me.

Inappropriate?It's been a while since this feature request was first posted. Any plans to add this kind of functionality? It's rather surprising that after all this time it's still absent from all players (unless you count the Winamp Kameleon DUI skin). -

Inappropriate?This Windows-only version is the only version of KameleonDUI that I'm aware of: http://www.leechbite.com/?section=Ski... . Sorry about that, and I hope you manage to find something equivalent. And perhaps a bit prettier, if you're super lucky. I wouldn't say KDUI is hideous but even with the wonderful buttons, waking up to that face every single morning is starting to get old.
