Can Conky Show What Songbird Is Playing?
I use Ubuntu as my operating system, and Songbird works phenomenally well on it. However, I don't know how to get Conky (a lightweight system monitor on my desktop) to display what is playing on Songbird. Does anyone know how to do this? If you don't know what Conky looks like, here's a screenshot (right side):

Inappropriate? This possibly can be done in form of add-on (if someone from the dev's community want to jump on it).
We already have some add-ons serving this functionality.

Inappropriate?Thank you for responding, Boris; the addons work great, but I was kind of looking for something a little more discrete (i.e. integration with Conky). Thank you again for the help, though. If Conky/Songbird integration can't be done, then I will stick to your advice.

Inappropriate?Hi,
Just found this thread while searching for a solution for me. I found this thread on the ubuntuforums.
The user eightmillion wrote a python skript for it. You just need the dbus bird addon.
Although I'm late I hope I could help you :)
I’m happy
