Can songbird read the cover information or album Art as some might call it of files edited in itunes?
Hi! To my great annoyance I was until now forced to stick with itunes, even with my growing hate for that company, since I always thought that no one would make a program that good. In those years I spent way too much time organizing my 15000+ songs, adding artwork to those unknown Punk Songs you can not buy on Amazon and stuff like that. Can songbird read that information? If not, is it possible that future songbird releases can? By now I have that cover manager thingie that loads all the mainstream covers, but I'd prefer to have my good old album covers back... Thank you for your time reading all this.

Inappropriate?Currently there is some support in Songbird for reading the metadata artwork from files (mp3 only at this time). It is being worked on and I believe full support for artwork will be expected by version 1.0. There is also Album Art Manager which is an add on to Songbird which gives more support for Album Art.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Okay. On some other thread I found a Roadmap, with release names such as "Fugazi", "Genesis" and so on that sound so much more personal than plain numbers. Are they all due before they mighty 1.0? Or do they have numbers not mentioned?
I’m feeling understood and taken serious
