Can't write metadata to ogg files
Songbird can not write changes to ogg file metadata on linux. Get a "Songbird was unable to write metadata..." message. Definitely have write permission to the files!

Inappropriate?G'day,
Ogg metadata writing I think was disabled in 1.2 again because it was discovered that sometimes ogg's got corrupted when writing Album art.
Its fixed and re-enabled in the nightlies for 1.3, so next release should have ogg (and finally M4A) metadata writing working.
Regards,
Andrew

Inappropriate?I use Windows XP and I seem to be having the same problem. I've converted my CD collection to OGG using CDex, but when I want to change the tags for the songs in Songbird, it comes up saying that the information I've typed doesn't match the metadata in the file. It happens no matter what songs I want to edit the information for, I feel like giving up after a few files are done because I just can't put up with having to click OK every time.
I’m frustrated

G'day,
This should work if you use the 1.4 beta's. In 1.2, it was disabled..
