Compiling Songbird on Ubuntu PPC?
Is it possible right now to build Songbird on a PPC build of Ubuntu right now? I've seen that older Mac versions existed, but none seem to mention Linux builds that would work on a Macbook using a PPC build of Ubuntu.
Thanks in advance!

Inappropriate?G'day,
To the best of my knowledge there is no official PPC build of Songbird. Whilst there have been a few OSX ones, I recall them being for much older versions of Songbird.
You could always give compiling it a shot though (it may work). Unfortunately though, there simply isn't enough PPC users around for POTI to support them officially now. Your best option is to give it a go and see what happens. Might get lucky :P
PPC in some ways was a lot more flexible then ix86 (you can divide by zero on PPC for instance), but according to wikipedia, the Apple G5's can only run in Big endian mode (it means the memory layout is the opposite direction to Intel), which may end up getting in your way :(
I wish you the best of luck though
