Inappropriate?I need for you to try a couple of things for me:
- Create a fresh profile and see if the problem disappears. You can do this by executing "/Applications/Songbird.app/Contents/MacOS/songbird -p" from a terminal window. Use the dialog to make a new profile.
- Snag a sample of the Songbird process while it's running away with your CPU. You can do this through the Activity Monitor in Leopard. Click on the Songbird process to highlight it, then click the "Sample Process" button. Do the same for the Windows_server process.
You can send both of those sample logs to me at ali@songbirdnest.com. -
Inappropriate?I'm having this problem with Windows XP - after a bit (would be happy to document with instructions) CPU usage shoots to 100% and the only way I can get my computer to respond in a completely not sluggish manner is to slowly get to task manager and kill the songbird process. Until I can figure this out, I'm not really able to use songbird. This is using 1.0.0.
I’m sad
