Playlists should follow the standard and be separate files.
This way other applications can use the playlists that Songbird generates without having to export and import these lists all the time.

Inappropriate?@Maimon, we like the performance benefits we get from storing things internally, but I understand where you're coming from. Someone else has already taken it on themselves to make this happen -- grab the Export Playlists addon.
