Creative products support for Mac ?
Will Songbird ever support the Creative products ( like the Zen Vision M) on Macintosh ?
I'm using XNJB that allows me to put my music on my Zen Vision M from my iMac. Can't you guys talk? XNJB is free software, released under the GPL so if you are a developer then you can download the source code. http://www.wentnet.com/projects/xnjb/

Inappropriate?Hi Claude,
The Zen Vision M uses the MTP transfer protocol that we currently only implement on Windows. That's because we built our support on top of Microsoft's MTP implementation. There's an open source implementation called libmtp that someone could use to develop a device extension for Linux or Mac, but we haven't had a chance to work on that yet.

I’m looking to the future

xnjb supports TONS of players. it even uses libmtp so working towards integrating xnjb seems like a no brainer.
of course no stellar ideas are ever actually implemented into open source software. I'm sure songbird will try to develop 3D album covers before they do somehting useful like support a bunch of media players across platforms.
*sigh* I'm bitter towards software development. as much as they say the listen to the users, I find it a rare thing where you can actually see and prove that they really did.
I’m not holding my breath
