Do I have to pay to listen to last.fm radio through songbird now?
How to listen to last.fm radio in songbird? I used to be able to listen to last.fm radio through songbird but now I can't listen to the radio. It says that I must subscribe to be able to listen to the radio. When I click subscribe, I am taken to a page that prompts me for billing information saying that I have to pay to listen to the radio. The thing is that it used ot work and I can listen to last.fm radio on the website for free. So what gives? Thanks.

Inappropriate?This is a pile of crap. I can listen to last.fm using rthymbox music player in linux but not in songbird? Is rthymbox doing something illegal or are they paying last.fm for access?

Inappropriate?Last.fm is restricting 3rd party players from accessing there radio. The only software (that they want to work) is the offical last.fm scrobbling software.

Inappropriate?Hi thank you for the reply. Rthymbox is third party software and is not affiliated with last.fm. The last.fm radio is being played in rthymbox through a plugin much like songbird has a plugin for last.fm. I very much would like to get to the bottom of this. Rthymbox is not the offical client for last.fm but it is able to play radio from last.fm in linux but songbird cannot play it? Very interesting.
