Does songbird extract pictures from mp3 and writes as plain files on HD?
Hi,
now I am really really angry. Is it songbird which has extracted the cover art pictures out of my mp3 files and has written them as plain files in my music folders? If it's so "WHO HAS GIVEN YOU THE RIGHT TO DO SO???" I know it is not polite to write capital, but it is meant. I mean I think a program has NO RIGHT whatsoever to modify something , without explicit allowance of the owner, outside it's own directories (otherwise the definition for such program is "VIRUS"). Is it songbird which did this? Please answer me. If it is the case songbird will be de-installed right away (and this would really be a pity, because, although not mature I think songbird has really extremely high potential .. and I an open source supporter) and I do really suggest you to review your strategy: the policy "other big company have similar strategy" is for me a nonsense. If it is not the case I apologize.
