Does Songbird support iPod Touch?
My computer has a problem so it's saying that I don't have enough room to download iTunes for my iPod, so I downloaded Songbird. I have an iPod Touch. When I plug it in, it doesn't show up in the Songbird window. Is Songbird even compatible with it? Thanks

Inappropriate?Unfortunately, you can not use iPod Touch with Songbird (or any other player besides iTunes, as far as I know).
iPod Touch is encrypted by Apple to only work with iTunes, at least for now. -
Inappropriate?Media Monkey claims to be able to synchronize with the iPod Touch and the iPhone. Haven't tested it myself, but I've heard of users having success with it. I would love to see Songbird have the same functionality. -

i'd love to get rid of iTunes, but i'm bound by my Touch...
anyone know of a way of installing Google's Android onto the Touch? :)

It supports iPods touch 1G & 2G with firmware 2.x and 3.x
if you find a solution for running it with wine, tell me :) -

smart playlists etc, which songbird is capable of doing.
Neither sharepod or foobar2k has these features
