Equal Song Volume
It would be great if Songbird could implement a way to make all songs play at the same song volume so when your listening to a song on your computer/iPod, it doesn't startle you and play extremely loud/soft. If they could get this done, it would be a major benefit for all the users as well as Songbird.

Its actually already somewhat built in built in. Its a feature known as replaygain (you will find the setting in options, playback, normalisation).
Unfortunately though, Songbird can only currently read the replaygain tags currently, not create them (although POTI is working on a way that songbird can calculate). So unfortunately, you still need a seperate tool to make your files normalised, but after they are, any replaygain compatible player can use the tags. Please note, replaygain doesn't work by reencoding the files so there is no quality lost, its simply an ID3 tag..
In the future though, replaygain tag writing will be automated :D
