Facebook recognizes Songbird as Old Firefox??
just out of curiosity why when i go on facebook does it read my songbird web browser
as an old vrs of firefox that should be upgraded

Inappropriate?This can be fixed by changing the config for the browser.
It's probably not the best idea ever, but it's what i've done just to get round the problem.
To do this, go into songbird, open a new tab, then type 'about:config' then do a search for 'agent'.
You should get a result with a preference name of 'general.useragent.extra.songbird'.
Double click it, and change the string to 'Firefox/3.0.4'. This will make most websites think that you are running Firefox 3.0.4 rather than songbird (which in essence are the same thing anyway), so will let facbook chat work again.
